Samsung has been releasing the new Galaxy S series every year without skipping any year. This time, it came up with a new number for the Galaxy S series, and instead of S11, it was called S20. The next Galaxy S series is rumored to be called Galaxy S21 and might be released early next year as well. Although, there is still almost a half year remaining we are getting the leaks about its specs. Quite recently, the tech magazine specialized in news and rumors related to Samsung mobiles has revealed more configuration information about the upcoming Galaxy S and the initial launch of the Exynos 1000 processor equipped with Snapdragon 875 and Samsung’s chip.
As per the leaks, Exynos 1000 and Snapdragon 875 will use the 5nmp process. Unlike Samsung’s other mobile processors in the past, Exynos 1000 uses AMD’s rDNA GPU Technology. The RDNA GPU technology is licensed to Samsung by AMD in 2019 to replace the existing Maili GPU. The graphics performance of the chip with the AMD GPU architecture will be greatly improved, and the performance is worth looking forward to. AMD’s CPU performance is well known in the gaming industry and it can be said with confidence that AMD processors have a mark in Gaming technology.
The other rumor is related to Samsung’s under-screen camera system that is under process right now. The news suggests that the next S series would be using an under-screen camera lens with an edge-to-edge display. The rear camera might get another upgrade and get up to 150-mega pixel resolution instead of the existing 108 MP solution. There will be 16MP ultra-wide angle lens and 12MP depth of field lens and ToF along with the primary camera lens. That makes it a five-camera system. We are expecting a much higher imaging system for the next Galaxy S series for 2021.
