Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy S line series has a massive fan following and appeal for mass users. The company has changed the Galaxy Note 10 a bit recently which makes it a tough competitor of Note as well. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 was launched last year with a 3,500mAh battery. As the phone is expected to be released somewhere around September, there isn’t much information we have right now but a few leaks suggest that it Galaxy Note 20 might feature a 4,000mAh battery.
The company hasn’t confirmed that Galaxy Note 20 name, but it is safe to assume this will be the name of the next smartphone. Samsung Note and Galaxy have mirrored each other in terms of specs over the years. More recently, the Galaxy series has moved its name from 10 to 20. Shortly after the Galax S20 line was unveiled, the company also released the handset’s kernel source code. The folks over xda developers secured the code and found evidence of the Galaxy Note 20 series. They found three different series in the code: Project XYZ, Project canvas, and Project winner 2. The Dutch blog claims that the Galaxy Note 20 battery model code EB-BN980ABY, that has a rated capacity of 3,880mAh, meaning a typical capacity of around 4,000 mAh. That’s the same size as Galaxy S20’s battery. With the regular Note 20 having a larger battery, we assume that the higher variant will also pack the bigger battery, which might be up to a 4,500mAh for the S20 plus or 5,000mAh like the S20 ultra.
