Samsung India just teased a short video showing its upcoming mid-range smartphone – Galaxy M51. The company made an announcement on Twitter and suggest that it’s one of the most unpredictable, power-packed phone you can have. Samsung Galaxy M51 has a model number SM-M515F. With early leaks, we know that the device has a quad-camera system which was confirmed by the official press images as well. The Galaxy M51 cameras come in an L-shape while the fingerprint scanner will double as a power key on the right side of the phone. The punch-hole will house the selfie camera, but the cutout is in the center rather than any corners, as we had some earlier rumors.
The device has a flat-panel with small bezels, where the bottom one being slightly thicker than the rest. While we don’t have a clear image of the bottom side, but it is safe to assume that the phone will feature a 3.5-mm audio jack on the left of the USB-C port. The biggest leak about the phone is its massive 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast-charging, a Snapdragon 730 processor, and an 8GB RAM. Some spec leaks suggest that the Galaxy M51 will have a primary 64Mp camera, but we are not sure about the authenticity of the news. Another source suggests that the launch is scheduled in the second half of September and it would be around INR25,000 to INR30,000.
As per leaks, the Galaxy M51 will have a 6.67-inches super AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The camera module will include a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera lens, two 5MP camera lens. The front-camera will consist of a 32MP lens. The phone will be available with 128GB and 512GB internal storage variants that can be further extended via external card. The device will have dual SIM support. The phone will have a corning Gorilla glass protection to save it from scratches.
