Last year, Samsung decided to manufacture phones for budget-conscious consumers. It also launched a few mid-range smartphones to compete with Chinese rivals. The electronics giant introduced a new series – the M series that enabled Samsung to survive and thrive through the intense competition from brands like Xiaomi and Redmi. In 2019, the company launched the Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20, and the Galaxy M30. Later on in the year, the Samsung Galaxy M30s was launched as an upper-end variant of these smartphones. It was then followed by the Galaxy M40. Almost after the five months of releasing Galaxy M30, Samsung is now bringing the Galaxy M31 to India with a few upgrades in hardware. The main selling point of the phone is a 64MP camera and a price tag. The phone will be available in the market at around $281.

The Galaxy M31 uses the same Exynos 9611 processing chip just like its predecessor. The device has 6GB RAM for the standard option. In terms of storage, the device comes in two options for the user to select – 64GB and 128GB.
