Samsung announced 7 new products including Z Fold 2, Note 20 and Note 20 ultra

Samsung unpacked event 2020 may look different than traditional events – with the company going for virtual events from Korea due to the pandemic but the event was still packed with so many surprises. Samsung took to luxury to introduce seven new products this time and a few of these are already ready for the preorder starting August 6 with shipments to roll out on August 21. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z fold 2 is available for pre-reserve right now and preorders will be starting from September 1.

Galaxy Z Fold 2

This comes as no surprise as we already knew that Samsung will be launching the second generation of the folding phone on the event and is official now. The Galaxy Z Fold 2, with a much larger screen on the front and stronger build than its predecessor will be available for preorder from next month.

The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a large 6.2-inch Infinity-O display on the front and turned into a 7.6-inch Infinity-O display when opened. The phone will be available in mystic bronze and mystic black colors.

Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 ultra

The Galaxy Note 20 features a 6.7-inch flat FHD+ Infinity-O display and Note 20 ultra has a 6.9-inch Quad HD+ dynamic AMOLED infinity-O display. The Galaxy Note 20 has a 8GB RAM with 128GB storage for $999 and Note 20 ultra 128GB RAM and 128GB storage for $1,299. The 512GB version for $1,499.

Note 20 ultra has 108MP primary camera whereas Note 20 has a 64MP telephoto camera. With these devices, the space zoom is back after seeing daylight on the Galaxy S20 family.

Galaxy Buds live

Samsung also released the Galaxy Buds to live at the event. They sit almost flush with the ear and packs a wide-ranging sound and active noise cancellation. The phone comes with black and white while the buds are glossy on the outside.

Galaxy watch 3

Samsung also announced the Galaxy Watch 3, the company’s latest smartwatch. It’s a mixture of the original Galaxy Watch and the more recent Watch Active2. You can use the Watch 3 to monitor incoming notifications, track workouts, count steps, and even call for help if you fall.
